I left because I had to tackle somethings up. But now, I'm back and now active again to wage word wars to fellow Nano's (awoooo)!

I wrote 30,000 words!

Oh boy! An emergency!

This is a hard decision but I need to have a week vacation from Nanowrimo and do some stuff so important that it could make a difference in my future (especially in my writing career, if I have a career). I know. This may result to failing Nanowrimo this year but I don't care. I can still try for next week but this project won't wait till next year. So, bye-bye for now (teary eyed).

See you by Week 3.

It's so early to stop.. I know.. But this is so much for a day... Running from 2660 words to 7187 is insane! That's what we call "hitting the plan". And I made it. Time's calling... Rest... And I call this a day.

WHAT!

I can't believe that I failed to get the daily word count. Why? It's because we need to go to the cemetery to pay respect to my dead relatives. Oh boy. And by the time we went back home, everyone in the house keeps buzzing like furious bees. Grrr. Anyways, it's still okay... There still lots of days to write.

BRB ladies and gents. I have a word count to chase. :)))

I woke up late. Yeah. What kind of alarm clock do I have? Ahaha.. Anyways, like yesterday, I went straight to my PC to write. Yesterday was a wonderful sprint, you know, and I'm planning to have it again. Are you ready to write and catch-up for some word count? I'm sure you are.

Achieving 1667 words in Day 1 is quite relieving. I made more word count than the suggested. That was quite fun. In my novel, I'm now in my Chapter 2 and gonna sprint again for the 2nd day.

I made a card for my characters where I list all of the playing figures in my novel. I also made a card where I write all of the probably themes or topics that to be discussed in my work.

Over-all, my day 1 is fun!

Grrr! My alarm doesn't work and that failed me to be on the 1st hour of NanoWrimo (that has been my habit since I joined Nanowrimo). But still, I wanna greet a....

HAPPY...

... WRITING!!! :p

That's better!

Anyways, I've been just awake a few minutes and I ran straight to my PC to check what's happening to the rest of the writing world.

What I will do now is to write my first 1667 words or more and continue until I get tired. I've already done plotting my story from beginning to its end and I believe that will make this year's Nanowrimo journey easier. I made a cup of coffee with cinnamon to engine start my crave to write while listening Holiday by Bee Gees.

My cup of coffee having a chat with my plot cards. :)
Woooh... Need to stop this wonderful talk for the mean time 'cause I have to be with my protagonist first. She keeps bickering on me why I won't start to build and her company up. Hahaha... Such a cutie character (You will meet her and the others some time.)

Why not try the music I'm playing now? You might like this one.

Genre:

Setting:
(SOON)

Synopsis:
(SOON)

Characters:
(SOON)

I will start my final preparation for Thrusday's writing-madness tomorrow. I have things to tie tightly this day before starting to commit for another work. This is a secret project, actually, and I can't reveal it. :) It's an experiment... However, the only thing I can tell you about is my novel for this year's Nanowrimo... I hope I could also put up a final page for THE LIFE OF BAM where you can read the synopsis and meet the characters. Isn't that fair? I want you, my friends and readers, to be part of my writing. We will together experience the birth of BAM and his friends and together shed some teary moment as we end it soon. So, I am encouraging you to help me write and realize the story of BAM

Can you be with me till the end of Novermber?

My Character and Plot map for my novel!
I didn't plan to come up an early noveling map to be used this November. But last night, a brown-out all throughout our neighborhood gave me an idea what to write for NanoWrimo. I love you to present my temporary title "The Life of Bam". It's a  story of a typical Filipino poor family living in the squatters area in the Philippines and all of a sudden an event happen and led to the great turn of their lives.

I was amazed last night because, unknowingly I was able to make a story that was unplanned. To be honest I didn't have any story in mind for write next month but thanks to the brown-out a bright light bulb shone over my head. :))

Do you have a noveling/writing map too?

...Hello new blogger DESIGN!

:)

Still happy though my Flash Drive was lost. :)))

My Ebooks.

My Writing files.

And all other resources that I gathered for a year.

GONE! Like a blink of an eye. :(

All of these things was in my flash drive. I've gone crazy now because most of my files that I will use this November was also there. OMG! I'm helpless... :( Hahai... I hope I can have my flash drive back ASAP.

November is fast approaching and I have to be fast in my preparation "ritual" too for this year's Nanowrimo. Before this very day, I already setup this blog for the sole reason for Nanowrimo-ing. I wanna start documenting my Nanowrimo experience this year and onward (though I started doing Nanowrimo since 2012). I want to gather too my Nanofriends in one blog and able to feature them as well. I love to write with people who love to write too. Its somewhat a motivation-driving force to finish a novel.

For this day of my nano-preparation I did:

  • Trimmed my hair
    • I hate to be interrupted just because I need to trim my hair. Often, my hair becomes the reason why I don't want to write. All the more if it's long, I feel like they try to get my ideas out of my head and leaving me helpless. :) I dunno if you experienced that kind of feeling. Hahaha. So, I need to trim my hair months before NanoWrimo.
Hahaha! Untidy, Yes. It is... :)
  • Made my own progress calendar
    • For me to be updated as how I progress through the whole writing month, I made a half manila paper size calendar. (I will let you see how it looks like on my next post.) I will be putting the number of words I able to achieve within a day and marked it with a nanowrimo sticker (which I made myself). Making a progress calendar really helps a lot. I made one like this when I first started NanoWrimo last 2010 and succeeded. But last year, I didn't make one therefore I failed. I believe that this year I will finish the challenge with a very big victorious grin. :))

  • Downloaded a writing software.
    • I'm not very confident to just use MS Word (Raise your right hand if you feel like that too.) I wanted a writing software interface that gives me a kick of "HEY! WRITE! WRITE! WRITEEEEEE!". So for this year, I will be using Scrivener(Windows) and yWriter5 as a back up software.

  • Downloaded an archiving software (a timeline to be exact)
    • Because I wanna document every move I make, I downloaded a timeline software where I can put my writing activities. I used TimeLine. Try it.

What preparation will you do for NanoWrimo?
